The Weinstein Co. is holding a screening of its awards-season contender “Lion” on Thursday, specifically hosted by mothers who have sons — along with fashion wonder-boy Zac Posen.
The film follows a boy who loses his family in Kolkata, India, then searches for them as a grown man (played by Dev Patel) after being adopted.
The screening’s hosted by Dasha Zhukova, Priyanka Chopra, Christie Brinkley, Georgina Chapman, Marie Brenner, Joanna Coles, Cynthia McFadden, Perri Peltz and Jamie Tisch.
Posen’s hosting, too, as an honorary mom at the Dolby 88 screening.
He told us at a screening of Katie Holmes’ new movie, “All We Had” on Tuesday, when we asked if there’s any women’s garment the designer covets: “I have to admit, if there is one item that I am envious of when it comes to women’s design — it would have to be a ball gown.”
