Lawyer-turned-‘Bachelorette’ eyes return to the courtroom

Former “Bachelorette” Andi Dorfman is well aware reality-TV fame won’t last forever, which is why the former assistant district attorney doesn’t rule out a return to the law.

“I look at my life now, which is crazy, but I know that if it all ended tomorrow, I have a legal career that I could go back to and that’s something that adds a lot of value to my life,” Dorfman told Page Six at this week’s Women Helping Women Benefit Breakfast.

Dorfman, 29, who got engaged to former minor league baseball pro Josh Murray on Season 10 of the ABC’s reality dating competition, eventually split with the Atlanta native five months after accepting his proposal in the July 2014 finale. She detailed bits of the breakup in her 2016 book, “It’s Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After.”

“I’m not oblivious to the fact that this stuff only lasts for so long, that’s just life in general,” she continued. “My law degree, people say, ‘Oh, why don’t you go back into law,’ and I probably will eventually.”

For now, Dorfman is keeping her courtroom etiquette fresh, all from the comforts of home.

“There are so many moments when I’m watching ‘Law and Order: SVU’ and I’m like, ‘Ugh I could totally do that.'”
