Heather Locklear’s rep insists the actress is just “taking steps to enrich” her life amid rumors she had a meltdown and entered rehab for the fifth time.
“I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life. Currently I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead,” Locklear told Page Six via her rep on Tuesday.
The spokesperson would not confirm or deny whether Locklear, 55, is currently in a rehab facility.
According to a new report from RadarOnline, the former “Melrose Place” star is checked into the famed Cliffside Malibu rehab center. “When she came in, she was drunk and on pills, crying and screaming,” a source told Radar, claiming that she was immediately taken to be detoxed.
The actress has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse for years. She previously checked into rehab in 2008 following a DUI arrest, then again in 2010. In January 2012, Locklear was hospitalized after allegedly ingesting prescription drugs with alcohol.
