Mariah visited marijuana dispensary days before NYE debacle

Mariah Carey is launching her own “full investigation” into her disastrous New Year’s Eve performance in Times Square, according to a report.

The 47-year-old pop diva was left struggling on stage before hundreds of thousands of people to sing along to a track of her tunes during ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” after her earpiece malfunctioned.

Carey claims there was “foul play” involved in her performance, The Sun of the UK reported.

A source close to the “We Belong Together” singer told The Sun, “Mariah is fuming and has been left very upset for the past couple of days. She won’t let this go and believes somebody tried to sabotage her.”

“She is launching her own investigation into the incident,” the source added.

Carey’s camp has said that the show’s producers sabotaged her Sunday performance for ratings.

Dick Clark Production’s called Carey’s claims “absurd.”

Meanwhile, Carey and her entourage were photographed the week before the botched New Year’s performance heading into a marijuana dispensary called The Original Leaf in Aspen, Colorado, The Daily Mail reported.

The famed vocalist wore a green ball gown and smiled at photographers as she walked in and out of the store just before Christmas in the state where recreational marijuana is legal.
