Andrew Dice Clay: Trump stole my act to become president

Andrew Dice Clay may have been president of the United States if he’d thought to run sooner.

The controversial comic told Page Six that while he doesn’t discuss politics often “because you never win,” he’s got some strong thoughts on President Donald Trump.

“A lot of people, from Bill Maher to Seth Meyers, would call him ‘The Dice of Politics.’ The guy stole my whole act to become president,” said Dice. “The only thing that was missing at the end was a cigarette and a lighter.”

“I’ve known Donny for 30 years,” said the 59-year-old funnyman, who’s currently competing on “My Kitchen Rules” alongside partner Valerie E. Vasquez.

As far as Trump’s work ethic in the Oval Office, he’s not so sure how it’ll turn out.

“I don’t know what to expect,” he said. “Nobody does, that’s why everybody’s nervous … the bottom line is, we call ourselves the United States, meaning, ‘We are united.’ So whoever the president is, that’s how I feel people should be. There’s no power in division, so as long as a people we stay united, I just hope for the best.”
