Ozzy Osbourne: ‘I don’t think I’m a f–king sex addict’

Ozzy Osbourne has changed his tune on sex addiction following last year’s admission amid marriage troubles with wife Sharon.

Speaking to The Times, the Black Sabbath frontman blamed his promiscuous behavior on his rock star lifestyle.

“I’m in a f–king rock band, aren’t I? There have always been groupies. I just got caught, didn’t I?” Ozzy said. “It was a bump in the road. I bet your marriage has bumps in the road too an’ all. In any marriage you grow apart if you don’t spend enough time together, and that was part of the problem. I don’t think I’m a f–king sex addict.”

Sharon, 64, split from Ozzy, 68, in May following reports he had cheated with hairstylist Michelle Pugh. Though the “Talk” co-host “suspected for some time” her spouse of 35 years had been unfaithful, a rep for Ozzy told to People in August he had been battling sex addiction for years.

“Over the last six years, Ozzy Osbourne has been dealing with sex addiction,” the rep said. “He is sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context.”

“He would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with. Since his relationship with Ms. Pugh was exposed, Ozzy has gone into intense therapy.”

Ozzy confirmed on “Good Morning America” in July his marriage with Sharon is “back on track.”

“No, it’s just a bump in the road is all,” Ozzy said. “Some days [marriage] is good, so some days [are] terrible, some days you just drift apart for awhile. But you get back on the horse you know?”

The Osbournes have been married since 1982.
