Sean Stewart takes up kickboxing after breaking wrist

Sean Stewart, who broke his wrist in December, is getting into fighting shape.

The 36-year-old son of rocker Rod Stewart tells Page Six he suffered the injury while playing soccer with a group of kids from Union Mission.

“I’m doing well, as the injury was pretty bad,” he said. “Lots of physical therapy and workouts help.”

By the looks of his Instagram feed, he’s doing more than physical therapy. The reality-TV star has taken up kickboxing.

“I’m really thrilled to announce I will be doing a movie in Thailand this summer with lots of physical work and a few scenes with kickboxing,” he added. “Plus, it’s a great workout.”

It’s clear Stewart has kept busy since his family’s reality show, “Stewarts & Hamiltons,” ended in 2015.

His rep and media manager Wendy Feldman adds there are several projects coming down the pipeline for the family.

“They work well together and are of course the ‘real Hollywood deal,’” she said. “People loved Sean’s mom Alana Stewart and George Hamilton when they did ‘Celebrity Family Feud’ last year and ‘Wife Swap.’ We are always looking for opportunities like that. The reality show really needed more time to settle in, but I’m sure in some form that will happen.”
