Tommy Hilfiger lists over-the-top Miami home for $27.5M

Tommy Hilfiger is looking to get rid of another one of his lavish homes — a wildly decorated Miami mansion he’s hoping to sell for $27.5 million.

The fashion designer and wife Dee Hilfiger put their estate, which is located on the exclusive Golden Beach and is more colorful than a bag of Skittles, on the market Thursday.

Everything about the home screams boldness and fun. Completely designed by interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard in an art gallery 1960s/1970s style, the seven-bedroom, 12-bathroom pad features bright hues, patterns and Pop and post-Pop artwork at every turn. And as we’re told, everything inside is available for a price, beyond the $27.5 million listing figure.

Even the bathrooms are an experience — several guest loos even feature scratch-and-sniff fruit wallpaper, including bananas.

“The Hilfigers had this estate designed to be a glamorous, sexy home where they could showcase their amazing collection of artwork, as well as incorporate a ‘groovy,’ colorful 1960s/1970s feel,” said listing agent Jill Hertzberg of The Jills.

At the center of the home is a spacious living room with a hair-on-hide carpet of colorful swirls and a mirrored ceiling. Meanwhile, black and white stripes adorn the kitchen floor.

Hilfiger’s office is a tribute to his iconic American brand, with red and blue paneling on the walls.

Outside the 14,079-square-foot home sits a serene oceanfront infinity pool and access to a private beach.

The Jills sold the estate to the Hilfigers in 2013.

Meanwhile, Hilfiger is still looking to get rid of his four-bedroom New York penthouse for $58.9 million. Another uniquely decorated home, it’s been on and off the market since October 2014. when it was originally listed for $80 million.
