Michael Bublé’s wife ‘very happy’ with son’s recovery after cancer

Michael Bublé and Luisana Lopilato’s son, Noah, is recovering after battling cancer.

“Thank God, my son is well,” Lopilato, 29, said at a press conference for her upcoming movie “Those Who Love, Hate” in Argentina on Monday. “My son’s recovery is a long process as you all know and he has to continue with check-ups … But we are very happy.”

Lopilato and Bublé, 41, previously canceled all work commitments in order to care for Noah during his illness, but the actress is happy to get back to work.

“We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow,” she said. “Seeing Noah grow and being happy gave me the strength to return and finish this film.”

She added, “When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes.  It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today. I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love, and I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.”

Noah, 3, was diagnosed with cancer in November. In February, Lopilato and Bublé said in a statement that Noah was “progressing well” and that doctors were “optimistic about the future for [their] little boy.”
