Inside the open house at David Bowie’s former apartment

A top real estate company is hosting an open house at David Bowie’s former apartment, and throwing his piano in with the sale, we’ve learned.

The Corcoran Group sent out invitations on Tuesday to potential buyers of residence 915 at the Essex House, promising they could “listen to the sounds of [Bowie] played on his very own piano while enjoying the inspiring views of Central Park” at the April 25 event.

The three-bedroom pad — where the late rocker and his wife, Iman, lived from 1992 until 2002 — is on the market for $6.5 million. The piano, which has been passed down from owner to owner since the famous couple sold up, is part of the deal.
