CNN’s Sara Murray wed journalist Garrett Haake near Austin, Texas, with a source telling us, “Half of Trump’s press pool was there,” naming guests like CNN’s Maeve Reston, NBC News’ Katy Tur and the Washington Post’s Ashley Parker.
The Instagram hashtag for the fête was #campaigntochampagne, and we hear Mitt Romney sent the couple a note of congratulations.
During the campaign, Trump publicly shamed Murray, calling her “a total novice reporter.” She has said that his supporters once keyed her car in response to CNN’s critical coverage.
