If Andrew Dice Clay runs for president in 2020, he has at least two supporters from the comedy community: “22 Jump Street” stars Kenny and Keith Lucas, collectively known as the Lucas Bros.
“I would vote for Dice,” Keith told BUILD Series on Tuesday. “He’s a comedian! I want to see a comedian as president.”
When twin Kenny pointed out that Trump is the current POTUS, Keith replied firmly, “Trump is not a comedian. He does funny things, but he’s not a comedian. As a comedian, you’re trying to make the audience laugh with jokes. With Trump, he’s just … funny.”
“He’s a clown. You’re laughing at him, not with it,” Kenny said. “With a comedian, you’re laughing with them.”
Clay, 59, told Page Six in January that Donald Trump stole his act to become president of the United States.
“A lot of people, from Bill Maher to Seth Meyers, would call him ‘The Dice of Politics.’ The guy stole my whole act to become president,” said Dice. “The only thing that was missing at the end was a cigarette and a lighter.”
