Jesse Williams and wife Aryn Drake-Lee have called it quits after five years of marriage, Page Six has confirmed.
In early April, the “Grey’s Anatomy” star, 35, filed for divorce and asked the judge to grant him joint physical and legal custody of their two children.
The former couple, who largely stayed out of the spotlight, welcomed daughter Sadie in 2013 and son Maceo in 2015.
Williams does not want to pay spousal support.
Williams and Drake-Lee, a real estate broker, met around 2007 when he was working as a schoolteacher in New York City. They eventually tied the knot in 2012 in Los Angeles, People reported.
“She’s been with me through all different facets of my career,” Williams said about Drake-Lee to USA Today in 2010. “She’s stuck with me through thick and thick and thin. We know each other in and out.”
