‘Casual’ star hopes to ‘dismantle our fascist government’

Tara Lynne Barr may play a lazy teen on “Casual,” but in real life she has big plans while on break from filming the Hulu show.

“I’m going to spend my time hanging out with my cat and trying to dismantle our new fascist government,” the actress quipped to Page Six at Tribeca Film Festival’s “Casual” premiere on Saturday.

The 23-year-old added, “If something pops up in between my busy schedule of trying to dismantle Trump’s presidency then so be it, but this is where we’re at right now.”

And although Barr’s character on the show doesn’t outwardly talk about the current political climate in the upcoming season, creator Zander Lehmann said that in her own way, Laura will be the most political this year.

The actress hasn’t been shy about her distain for Trump on social media. Barr was also in D.C. in January for the Women’s March on Washington.

“Casual” Season 3 premieres on May 23.
