‘Godfather’ cast caps off Tribeca screening at The Grill

In honor of the 45th anniversary of “The Godfather,” the Tribeca Film Festival screened the first two films in the series at Radio City Music Hall on Saturday.

Following the screening, the cast headed over to The Grill, the soon-to-open restaurant from Major Food Group’s Mario Carbone, Jeff Zalaznick and Rich Torrisi in the space formerly occupied by the Four Seasons.

Stars at “The Godfather” dinner included Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, James Caan, Talia Shire, James Franco, director Francis Ford Coppola, Gay Talese, Whoopi Goldberg and Les Moonves.

De Niro and Pacino both gave speeches.

The Grill opens to the public on Thursday, and over the past week there have been a series of starry pre-opening dinner parties.

Guests have included Henry Kravis, Nas, Leon Black, Vito Schnabel, Jenna Bush Hager, Steve Roth, Steve Stoute, Robert Kraft, Len Blavatnik, Leonard Lauder, Drew Barrymore, Jessica Seinfeld, Barry Sternlicht and Ken Griffin.
