Megyn Kelly lands Kardashians interview ahead of NBC debut

Megyn Kelly is “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” before launching her NBC shows.

Snapped on the set of the reality series Thursday, an E! insider told Page Six that Kelly sat down with most of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. The show’s producer Ryan Seacrest was also there.

“Megyn interviewed Kris and all of her daughters, including Kim,” the insider said. “It’s a taped interview so it’s going to run either on her Sunday show, which starts in June, or her morning show, which starts in the fall. That doesn’t necessarily mean this is going to be her first episode,” the source said.

Industry insiders continue to point out that NBC has bitten off more than it can chew with its latest news star.

“It’s chaos. No one really understands what the [morning] show is supposed to be, and they don’t have a lot of time to figure it out,” a source said.

It’s been speculated that an interview with Vladimir Putin would launch her NBC career after her boss Andy Lack jetted to Russia to meet with his spokesman last month.

“The Kardashians are a long way from [that]. It’s embarrassing they can’t get anyone outside the NBCU family to launch the show,” the industry source added.

Meanwhile, we hear that Kelly is chasing interviews with George Clooney and Amal, as well as with Beyoncé and Jay Z.
