Carmelo Anthony sent a strong message about family this weekend.
The troubled NBA star commented “Love yall” on La La Anthony’s recent Instagram post with her son at VH1’s “Dear Mama” Mother’s Day event on Saturday.
The image shows a ringless La La embracing her 10-year-old son, Kiyan, from behind while on the red carpet. Her caption also pointed to the difficult times they’re all facing.
“He’s the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside #myoneandonly #myeverything #vh1 #dearmama,” La La, 37, captioned the doting snap.
Since separating in mid-April after news broke that Carmelo, 32, allegedly cheated and knocked up a stripper, La La has been making the most of her evenings.
At last week’s Met Gala, La La not only flaunted her curves in a see-through gown, she turned the glitzy event into a girls’ night, partying with Janelle Monaé, Lupita Nyong’o and more.
