Country singer Thomas Rhett’s family is really growing.
Rhett and his wife, who is pregnant, just adopted an 18-month-old baby girl named Willa Gray.
The singer shared the news via Twitter on Friday, writing, “I can’t believe our daughter is finally home 🙌🏼 Thank you to everyone who prayed every single day for this sweet girl.”
The couple first met Willa last year while Lauren was visiting the little girl’s home in Uganda on a trip with 147 Million Orphans, according to E! News.
“On the way to the airport, it was like Christmas Day,” Rhett told People of finally bringing Willa home. His wife agreed, saying, “It felt like a dream. I’ve dreamed of us all being on the same continent for so long. It finally feels like everyone is where they’re supposed to be.”
