“Billions” star Kelly AuCoin has flipped for the feds for HBO’s Bernie Madoff movie.
AuCoin — who plays shady Axe Capital trader “Dollar” Bill Stearn on Showtime’s hit “Billions” — stars as real-life FBI agent Ted Cacioppi in HBO’s “The Wizard of Lies.”
“I was filming both roles at the same time,” AuCoin told us at a party for the movie. But, “I like playing the dark side,” he admitted of his “Billions” role, since he’s often cast to play “good guys.” He’s also been in “The Americans” and “House of Cards.”
