David Foster‘s quest for wife No. 5 rolls on.
On Friday, the music producer enjoyed a PDA-filled dinner date with “Scorpion” star Katharine McPhee at Nobu in Malibu.
“David and Katharine were very intimate during their dinner,” a source told E! News. “David was seen grabbing Katharine’s face and kissing her cheek several times. Katharine was doing the same to David’s face and they were acting as if they were a couple.”
According to the insider, Foster, 67, and McPhee, 33, arrived at the eatery around 8:30 p.m. before dining on sushi and sipping red wine. They left together in an Uber less than two hours later.
A rep for McPhee told Page Six on Monday she and Foster have known one another for 11 years and are just friends. They first crossed paths while the striking brunette competed on “American Idol” in 2006.
Foster and fourth wife Yolanda Hadid announced they were divorcing after four years of marriage in December 2015. He was linked to bombshell Christie Brinkley a short time later.
McPhee split from “Scorpion” co-star Elyes Gabel last July after two years together. Her six-year marriage to Nick Cokas imploded in 2013 after she was caught kissing her “Smash” director, Michael Morris. She filed for divorce from Cokas in May 2014.
