Power publicist Mara Buxbaum appeared to poke fun at White House press secretary Sean Spicer at Cannes.
The ID PR agency president — whose clients include Jake Gyllenhaal, Sean Penn and Michelle Williams among others — posted a picture of herself hiding behind a palm frond at the film festival with the caption, “Press strategist hiding in the bushes.”
The post seems to be a reference to Spicer’s infamous attempt to hide from cameras in — or rather, “among” — the White House garden’s bushes.
