The recent death of Rosario Dawson’s cousin has put things into perspective for the actress.
“My cousin just died, Vaneza [Ines Vasquez], and I’m coming up on the six-year anniversary of my grandmother’s passing,” the star shared Wednesday at AOL Build.
“And from 75 to 26, you don’t know when your time is,” she added. “I just don’t want to be in any kind of position where I’m looking back going, ‘Ah, I should’ve, could’ve, would’ve, didn’t, damn!’”
It was the first time Dawson, 38, spoke out about finding Ines unresponsive at her California home in early May.
While an exact cause of death is not yet known, Vasquez suffered from hypertension in addition to migraines leading up to her passing. She was 26.
