Ariel Winter’s beach antics in a thong will make you uncomfortable

Ariel Winter chose an interesting way to honor those who died while serving their country on Memorial Day.

The “Modern Family” star rocked red locks and a puffy pout Monday as she modeled a thong bikini for a sexy photoshoot on Instagram. While some fans praised the sultry snaps, others were peeved by the 19-year-old actress’ choice of content on the patriotic holiday.

“Respect the memorial day,” one user commented.

“Are you serious? Post whatever pics you want but this particular one does not jive with what memorial day is about,” sniffed another.

Winter posted a separate tribute to the troops an hour later.

“Could not be more grateful to all of the men and women who risk their lives to protect ours and our freedom. We are all forever indebted to your service. Thank you,” she wrote.

Winter has made it clear she isn’t destined to be an ideal role model. Speaking to Page Six at the Tribeca Film Festival, Winter said there’s too much pressure to be perfect.

“You know people throw around the term role model a lot,” Winter said in April. “I love the term, I think it’s great, but I think people put too much pressure on people to be perfect and to portray that imagine.

“Really, what we should be aspiring to, is having role models that are just themselves because people make mistakes, they are human and I think that’s really important and that’s what I aim to be, is just me and leave that out there,” she continued.
