George Clooney hints that twins are due any day now

The arrival of Amal and George Clooney‘s twins is imminent, the Oscar winner revealed on Monday.

George, 56, sent a video message to the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity, explaining why he couldn’t make it to the Yerevan, Armenia, ceremony in person.

“I’m sorry that I can’t be with you all tonight in Yerevan, but I can say in all sincerity that I am with you in spirit … I really would have been there, but if I came there and my wife had twins while I was there, I could never come home,” he said.

That doesn’t mean Amal, 39, necessarily needed George around.

In March, he gushed that the expecting human rights lawyer was “doing really great. She is amazing. I don’t have anything to do. There is nothing I can do to help, but make tea and stuff.”
