“Flip or Flop” star Christina El Moussa has a new man — and estranged husband Tarek isn’t too enthusiastic about it.
“Yes, she is dating. Who specifically, I couldn’t tell you,” Tarek told SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy with Andy Cohen” on Wednesday. “We’re going through this divorce thing, we’re working together … I just really don’t want to know what’s going on with her personal life.”
Christina, 33, is reportedly dating an Orange County, Calif., businessman named Doug, who she’s known for a decade — and who she dated before she and Tarek got together.
Tarek, 35, filed for divorce from Christina in January. The couple separated in May 2016 after a blowout fight during which police were called and guns were seized from their family home.
The estranged couple share son Brayden, 2, and daughter Taylor, 6.
Despite their divorce and occasional social media beef, the pair will still appear on another season of “Flip or Flop” together.
As for what led to the split, Tarek told Cohen, “I think communication was a big problem. Our lives changed drastically in such a short period of time when it comes to TV notoriety, sickness, there’ so much we went through in such a short period of time and it takes a toll on a relationship. But can I say that’s the reason we’re going through a divorce? No.”
When Cohen asked Tarek if he had any bad blood with the blond beauty, Tarek insisted, “At this point, no. Absolutely not. I’m at such a good place, and no, I do not hate her. You can’t hate someone you have to spend the rest of your life with for the kids. No matter what, even if I wanted to — which I don’t — I couldn’t hate my almost ex-wife.”
“When we go to school activities, sporting events, we will sit right next to each other,” he added.
As for his own dating life, Tarek, who previously dated his and Christina’s former nanny, is keeping it low-key despite posing with bevies of beauties on Instagram.
“It’s going to be a while [before I have a serious girlfriend],” he said. “I think I’m taking a break from blondes. I think maybe I’ll dabble with brunettes for a while … Pretty much, I’m just looking for someone that’s a lot of fun, that’s a free spirit, and is on the same page as me. I’m just traveling, living life and just having a blast.”
