“SNL” star Aidy Bryant has been on some comical dates.
She told us of one particularly bad rendezvous, “One time I had a friend set me up, and it did not go well. We went to lunch, and he was so nervous he immediately dropped his sandwich . . . And then, he didn’t start crying, but he was on the edge. It wasn’t endearing or charming — I felt stress on his behalf.”
Bryant’s starring in the new romantic comedy “The Big Sick,” directed by Michael Showalter and written by real-life couple Emily V. Gordon and Kumail Nanjiani.
