Jenny Slate — the adorably quirky actress who dated Marvel hunk Chris Evans and may have moved on to Jon Hamm — says of her latest role in the 1990s-set dramedy “Landline,” “I don’t think I’m a square. I didn’t have to be taught how to smoke a cigarette.”
But, she added at a BAMcinemafest screening, where guests included Lena Dunham and Zoe Kazan, “I did have to be taught how to pretend to not know about weed.”
The film follows a Manhattan teen who discovers her father is having an affair.
Slate has said that “Captain America” stud Evans summed up their incongruous relationship as “like I’m a chick riding on a St. Bernard’s head.”
But she reportedly went on a date with another St. Bernard, Hamm, last week.
