Jay Leno’s private jet is too big for the Hamptons

Jay Leno is too big for the Hamptons — at least, his private jet is.

We’re told the standup comic is flying in for a July 1 gig in East Hampton, but his airplane has been refused permission to land by the East Hampton Airport.

So the former “Tonight Show” host will have to land at the Francis S. Gabreski Airport in Suffolk County, then drive an hour to his appearance at the annual Guild Hall Season Spectacular instead.

We’re told there’s a dinner for Guild Hall donors afterward, and expected guests include power lawyer Allen Grubman, Linda Macklowe, Vera and Donald Blinken and Marty and Michele Cohen.
