When Dave Franco popped the question to Alison Brie in Big Sur, Calif., the “Glow” actress didn’t originally say “yes.”
“I was so shocked that I actually burst out laughing,” Brie revealed during an interview on “Larry King Now,” airing Friday. “And I asked him a number of times if he was being serious before saying yes.”
After meeting at the Mardi Gras parade in 2001, Franco, 32, and Brie, 34, confirmed their engagement in August 2015 after three years of dating. The couple wed this past March.
Weeks after tying the knot, Franco confirmed he wasn’t wearing a wedding band because his finger was too fat for the ring.
“It was too small,” the actor told E! News. ““My finger’s fatter than I thought.”
