Steven Spielberg parties with mixed political company

Steven Spielberg mixed with a high-powered political crowd at a July Fourth weekend bash thrown by Washington Post scion Lally Weymouth.

Spielberg is currently directing a Beltway drama based on Weymouth’s mother — the late Washington Post publisher Katharine Graham, as played in the film by Meryl Streep — with Tom Hanks as the paper’s legendary editor Ben Bradlee.

The family’s Donald Graham is an adviser on the film, as Page Six previously reported. Also at the bipartisan bash were Cathie Black, billionaire Ronald Lauder, Jared Kushner and wife Ivanka Trump, Robert Zimmerman, Kellyanne Conway, as well as cabinet members including Wilbur Ross and Elaine Chao, Sen. Chuck Schumer, Rep. Carolyn Maloney, Andrew Stein and various foreign dignitaries.

“When you see David Koch and George Soros at the same event … it’s like the Met Ball for politics, ” said one guest. “Plus, Spielberg dropped by to talk about his new film.”
