Kathy Griffin shaves head in solidarity with sister in chemo

Kathy Griffin is standing by her cancer-stricken sister.

On Monday, photos of Griffin, 56, surfaced on social media after she shaved her head in support of her sibling, who is battling cancer.

“My daughter Kathleen Mary is a wonderful human being,” the comedian’s mom, Maggie Griffin, posted on Twitter.

Most recently, the TV personality came under fire after posing in a disturbing photo shoot in which she held up a fake severed head that resembled President Trump. As a result, Griffin was axed from CNN’s New Year’s Eve show, which she co-hosted alongside pal Anderson Cooper.

This isn’t the first time cancer has affected Griffin’s family. Her brother, Gary Griffin, succumbed to his two-year battle with esophageal cancer in 2014.
