Al Franken got a kick out of Scaramucci’s firing

Sen. Al Franken is an ex-comedian, but it was he who got the last laugh over Anthony Scaramucci.

A Page Six spy was on the Acela Express from New York to DC on Monday, when the news broke that Scaramucci had been fired as the White House’s communications director.

“Franken was in the seat behind us,” the spy told us of the Democratic Minnesota senator and former “Saturday Night Live” star.

“As the Scaramucci news broke on all our phones, we suddenly heard a huge belly laugh come from Franken.

Then, he loudly said, ‘Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy!’”
