Lauren Conrad is enamored with her newest title: Mom.
“I was looking at him the other day,” she said of her newborn, Liam, to People, “and I was like, ‘I understand now why people keep having babies!”
The reality-star-turned-lifestyle-guru, 31, gave birth after hosting a Fourth of July party.
“I was feeling great and I didn’t think the baby was going to come, so I decided to go ahead with the party,” she said. “But we did it a little more low maintenance than we usually do.”
After her last guest left, she headed to the hospital.
“I had no baby experience,” she admitted. “I had never held a newborn, and I just changed my first diaper the other day!”
During her pregnancy she craved “kid food,” including peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or macaroni and cheese but post-pregnancy, she’s in no rush to lose the baby weight.
“I don’t feel any pressure,” the former “Hills” star said. “I’ve never really had boobs before, so I’m going to try these out for a little bit!”
Conrad — who has since gone back to work since becoming a new mother — is looking forward to what life with Liam will bring, but is already thinking about growing her family.
“We’ll probably have two,” she said of expanding her family with husband William Tell. “I think it’s best not to be outnumbered.”
