Aaron Carter is back on the market.
The troubled singer, 29, and his girlfriend Madison Parker have called it quits after less than a year of dating, Page Six confirms.
“Aaron and Madison love each other and respect one another dearly,” Carter’s rep told us in a statement. “It was a mutual decision that happened last week and Aaron’s personal statement released speaks for itself. Now back to the music.”
News that the couple, who were both arrested last month, have parted ways comes after Carter revealed in an emotional social media post that he is bisexual.
“I grew up in this entertainment industry at a very young age and when I was around 13-year-old I started to find boys and girls attractive,” Carter shared over the weekend. “There were years that went by that I thought about it, but wasn’t until I was 17-year old, after a few relationships with girls, I had an experience with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with.”
Since revealing the personal news, his Instagram has been flooded with positive comments.
“Be free in your journey, and enjoy all the possibilities that come with your adventure called life,” said one fan.
Another supporter chimed in, “Keep doing you. You’ve come such a long way. Never let anyone get you down.”
