Busy Philipps can add writer to her resume.
The actress announced Wednesday that she’s penning a book of essays, due out in 2018.
According to an excerpted press release posted on Instagram by Philipps, 38, the essays will be about everything “from growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona and her painful and painfully funny teen years, to her life as a working actress, mother, and famous best friend.”
The actress, who will soon appear on HBO’s “Vice Principals,” was on cloud nine in an Instagram video announcing the news. “I’m writing a book! For real,” Philipps exclaimed.
Though the book’s title isn’t ready for release quite yet, Philipps did promise fans that “it’s a good title!”
Philipps made it clear that her fans made this all happen.
“It wouldn’t have been possible without you,” Philipps declared. “I’ve been waiting my whole life to write this book, guys, I’m just so grateful somebody finally asked.”
