Lauren Conrad’s People cover on track to be magazine’s worst-selling

Lauren Conrad is on course to have the lowest-selling cover in the history of People magazine.

Sources tell us that last week’s issue of the legendary glossy — with the cover line “How love changed me” and offering exclusive photos of the “Hills” star’s new baby — has sold just 300,000 copies, according to early figures.

A People spokesperson said, “It’s way too early to tell how that issue sold since it is still on newsstands. It is ridiculous to speculate on final numbers, and we aren’t worried about it.”

Still, she’s in good company: Other People bombs include Pope Francis (which reportedly sold 450,000 copies) and Hillary Clinton (which did 500,000, according to reports).
