Taylor Swift’s mom ‘wanted to vomit and cry’ after hearing of alleged groping

DENVER — Taylor Swift’s mom pointed directly at her daughter’s accused groper in Denver federal court Wednesday, defiantly declaring that the former radio DJ “sexually assaulted” the pop-star during meet-and-greet in 2013.

“I heard it from my daughter’s mouth,” Andrea Swift insisted.

“I know what happened. He sexually assaulted her — that guy,” the emotional mom charged, shooting a sharp glance at former KYGO radio host David Mueller, 55, as the courtroom fell silent.

Andrea Swift recalled the day Taylor was allegedly groped under her dress while posing for a photo with Mueller and his girlfriend, Shannon Melcher, saying she felt sick when she heard what happened.

“I was very upset. That’s different than angry,” Andrea Swift told federal court jurors. “I was upset to the extent of feeling like I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time.”

Swift, who wore a white dress and black blazer to the third day of her civil trial, appeared emotional at times and stared intently at her mom as she testified. At one point, she handed her mom reading glasses.

Andrea cried throughout her testimony, dabbing her tears with a tissue — and during a brief break, she rubbed Swift’s back.

Mueller, who’s seeking $3 million in damages, sued the “Shake It Off” singer in 2015, claiming she wrongfully accused him of groping her and got him fired from his job at KYGO.

Swift countersued, alleging assault and battery, but she only wants $1.

Andrea began to sob on the stand as she described how her A-list daughter even thanked Mueller after the meet-and-greet at the Pepsi Center on June 2, 2013 because she’s so “polite.”

“One of the things that stuck with me was that she couldn’t believe that she — after the incident, after he grabbed her — that she thanked them for being there,” she testified.

“It was just destroying her that she said that after somebody did that to her.”

Andrea wasn’t inside the photo booth where Swift posed with Mueller and Melcher, but her daughter told her about the alleged grope in her dressing room before going onstage to perform.

“I walked into her dressing room and she said to me, ‘Mom, a guy just grabbed my a– at the meet and greet,” Andrea said, adding that she was “shaken” and “horribly humiliated.”

After the concert, Andrea said she consulted with other members of Taylor’s team and they agreed it was “important for [Mueller’s] employers to understand what took place and important that this not happen to another woman.”

They “contemplated” calling the cops, but ultimately didn’t want it to become public.
Andrea, who said she “absolutely” wanted Mueller to get fired, testified that she knew right away something was “horribly wrong” when she saw the photo of Swift and the DJ together.

“Because of her body, and the look in her eyes,” she said. “I know those eyes better than anybody. I can tell by the way she’s pulling over … because she’s literally pulling away from him as far as she can.”
