Michael Moore’s Broadway celebrations stop traffic

Michael Moore opened on Broadway and headed to his after-party on foot, stopping traffic on Sixth Avenue for 30 minutes.

Moore and his entourage (which included Christie Brinkley, Harvey Fierstein, Rosie O’Donnell, Gloria Steinem, Al Sharpton, Dan Rather and Marlo Thomas) departed the Belasco Theatre, led by an all-girl fife-and-drum corps and flag-waving fans, and headed south.

Said one source, “Things got dicey when the parade reached the intersection of Sixth and 42nd Street as camera-wielding tourists swarmed around Moore and Brinkley, causing a total traffic standstill.”

Cops were called and quickly “rescued” Moore and his celeb pals.
