Ken Downing of Neiman Marcus presented jewelry designer Kendra Scott with the Breakthrough Award at the ACE Awards at Ciprani’s 42nd Street, and he let us in on the one woman he would like to be for a day:
“It would have to be Iman. She is ageless, superchic, and she was amazing on and off the runway. She was also married to David Bowie, so how can you go wrong with any of that?”
And when it comes to that one accessory that all women should have in their closet, he says, “Every woman should have a Chanel bag, and if you can not afford that [then] a great pair of huge statement earrings. Big earrings take 10 years off. You can get a big earring at any price.”
