Liza Minnelli may be gearing up for a big return to the spotlight.
“She’s talked about putting a show together that she’d like to do with me,” Minnelli’s good friend Michael Feinstein told Closer Weekly. “Every time we meet, we discuss songs and come up with opening numbers. We’ll see!”
Over the last few years, Minnelli, 71, has largely retreated to life out of the spotlight in Los Angeles.
“She’s never been happier or more content,” Feinstein added. “She’s always working on music and organizing boxes of things she’s collected through the years.”
The mag adds she’s keeping a busy schedule by completing dance class twice a week.
“She has a curiosity for life, and I think that’s what keeps her going,” Feinstein noted. “Life is grand!”
