Dave Chappelle celebrated 30 years in comedy at a private bash at Nolita hot spot Esther & Carol.
Chappelle’s pal Frédéric Yonnet hosted the party for guests including Zoë Kravitz, Public School designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow and former Hot 97 DJ Cipha Sounds.
Chappelle spent the evening “dancing onstage with his wife, as DJ Stretch Armstrong spun hip-hop,” a source said. “John Mayer joined them onstage and started playing guitar and rocking out.”
Rapper Billy Ray performed a Notorious B.I.G. tribute, and “Dave was rapping along with him, singing ‘Big Poppa.’ He had the mike, shouting out his guests and thanking everyone for coming out on such a special night.”
