DMX again asks judge to lift out-of-state travel ban

A day after a judge nixed his bid to travel out of state to compete on a hip-hop version of “Hollywood Squares,” DMX asked to be cleared for travel to Atlanta for a BET gig, accompanied by a “substance monitor.”

The rapper, born Earl Simmons, has been confined to home and made to wear an ankle monitor after failing a drug test while on bail pending tax-evasion charges.

Attorney Murray Richman hopes Manhattan federal Judge Jed Rakoff will reconsider the refusal and give Simmons “the opportunity to support his family and his children.”
