Meek Mill was arrested Thursday after videos of the rapper disobeying “many New York City traffic laws” while riding a motorcycle through Manhattan appeared on social media, cops said.
The artist, whose name is Robert Williams, was riding without a helmet, doing wheelies and putting “himself and others at great risk of injury,” according to police.
Meek Mill was arrested around 11 p.m. on the corner of 10th Avenue and Dykman Street in the Inwood section of Manhattan after police witnessed the videos online.
He was charged with one count of reckless endangerment and was awaiting arraignment at Manhattan Criminal Court late Thursday.
