Cameron Douglas’ life continues to rebound since last year, when he was released from prison after serving nearly seven years on drug charges. He and his beautiful Brazilian girlfriend, Viviane Thibes, are expecting their first child.
“Cameron and Viviane are happily pregnant,” a rep for movie star Michael Douglas confirmed to Page Six on Friday.
A friend of the family told us of Cameron’s parents, “Michael and Diandra [Douglas] are both happy for them.”
Page Six reported in June that Cameron was granted permission by a judge to travel to LA despite being on probation to visit his 100-year-old grandfather, Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas, after he’d missed Kirk’s centennial birthday in 2016 because he wasn’t allowed to leave town due to the terms of his parole.
We also revealed that Cameron’s working on a memoir about growing up in Hollywood, as well as his addiction and time behind bars.
Meanwhile, Michael and Diandra may have some more money for baby gifts. Sources tell us that they’re selling off their estate in Mallorca, Spain, for a mere $35 million.
The price represents another steep drop from the more than $39 million the listing asked for last summer. It was reportedly previously on the market for $48.2 million.
Michael’s rep would not comment on the current price, and a listing with Sotheby’s International says simply “price on request.”
Reports have said that Michael and second wife Catherine Zeta-Jones are selling the home — which dates from the 19th century and belonged to Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Habsburg. But a source explains to Page Six that “Michael and Diandra split use of the house when they divorced” in 1995. “Neither of them use the house more than three or four weeks a year.”
Michael’s rep confirmed, “Michael and Diandra are selling Mallorca. It’s unfortunate, but Michael works and isn’t able to get there very often.” The actor is currently filming the Marvel movie “Ant-Man and the Wasp” in Atlanta.
