New book to profile women who ‘shaped’ Donald Trump

A Newsweek political writer is penning a book about the women who shaped Donald Trump’s life, sources tell Page Six.

The untitled tome’s due out next summer from Simon & Schuster’s Gallery Books.

A source said the book by Newsweek national-politics correspondent Nina Burleigh will profile women in the president’s family, including Scottish-born mother Mary Anne MacLeod Trump and grandmother Elizabeth Christ Trump as well as Trump’s three wives and daughter Ivanka.

“The new book is about the women who’ve shaped the president’s life,” a source said.

We hear that Burleigh’s traveling to the Trump family’s ancestral Scotland and Germany for research.

“Each woman will get a mini-biography, interspersed with sections about people or events that influenced their lives and their times,” the source said.

She’s also trying to connect with Trump’s cousin John Walter, the Trump family historian.
