Sanaa Lathan revealed a shocking new look on Tuesday.
The “Best Man” actress debuted her shaved head for her role in the upcoming “Nappily Ever After” film on Instagram.
“All off. Feels so light, I could fly away,” Lathan, 45, said in a video rubbing her scalp.
Fans have responded with positivity in the comments. “U still a beautiful diva with or without hair,” noted one fan. Another beamed, “You still look as beautiful as ever, even with a buzz cut. You can def do whatever and make it look good.”
Over the last few weeks, Lathan has been flaunting her long tresses on social media all in preparation for the role.
In “Nappily Ever After,” Lathan will play Violet Jones, a woman who grows tired of waiting for her boyfriend to pop questions and breaks up with him. She becomes filled with jealousy after learning he’s got another woman.
A release date for the film has not been set.
