Lakeisha Williams is ready to wrap up her divorce from estranged husband Richard Williams, father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams.
Richard and family attempted to have Lakeisha and the former couple’s 5-year-old son, Dylan, evicted from their Palm Beach, Florida, home.
Lawyers sent correspondence requesting Lakeisha vacate the premises and threatened to have the locks changed.
As of Thursday, Lakeisha and the child are still in the house and no documents have been filed in civil court to have her removed.
Lakeisha’s lawyer Sandy Becher told Page Six, “What’s next is we’ll take depositions of the parties and witnesses and have hearings. After we fully exchange financial information, hopefully we can settle the matter at mediation. If not, then litigate any open and unresolved issues there still are.”
