Kathy Griffin‘s sister has died after a battle with cancer.
“My sister Joyce passed away peacefully last night,” Griffin, 56, announced on Instagram on Friday.
Griffin shared a video of her sister in the hospital enjoying music, accompanied by plea for fans to support the American Cancer Society.
This past summer, the comedian shaved her head in solidarity with Joyce as she underwent chemotherapy. Since then, Griffin has been wearing wigs she calls her “magic hair,” and shared a photo of Kris and Kendall Jenner trying out the “magic” for themselves.
