Donald Glover has a lot to celebrate.
The “Atlanta” star took home two Emmy awards Sunday night — one for comedy series directing and one for comedy lead actor — but it was during his acceptance speech for the latter that revealed he and his partner Michelle are expecting their second child together.
“I want to thank my baby, my son, for just being the joy in my life,” said Glover, 33, onstage. “I want to thank my unborn son — we’re listening to Stevie [Wonder] tonight.”
Glover, who is famous for keeping his personal life very private, only publicly mentioned his partner and the arrival of their first child when he thanked them during his acceptance speech at the 2017 Golden Globes for “Atlanta.”
“I really want to say thank you to my son and the mother of my son for making me believe in people again and things being possible,” Glover gushed. “So, thank you.”
