Jimmy Fallon celebrates his birthday with Paul McCartney

They say it’s his birthday!

Jimmy Fallon rang in his 43rd birthday on Tuesday night at Paul McCartney’s concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center — and even got an on-stage serenade from the legendary performer.

McCartney took a break from his usual setlist to ask if anyone in the audience was celebrating a birthday. The spotlight then landed on Fallon and his group — including wife Nancy Juvonen and “Saturday Night Live” honcho Lorne Michaels — in their floor seats.

“Wait a minute, who’s this guy?” McCartney asked from the stage. “Hey, wait a minute, is that Jimmy, Jimmy Fallon? … Happy birthday, Jim! OK, Jim, this is especially for you and the other people who’ve got a birthday.”

McCartney and his band launched into the Beatles hit “Birthday,” before the audience joined in by singing the classic version of the tune. The cameras captured Fallon on the big screens as he freaked out about the performance.

Fallon was also spotted hanging out during the concert with celebrity chef Mario Batali — who was celebrating his own 57th birthday, but got no special shout-out from McCartney during the show. But McCartney later shared an Instagram message for both famous birthday boys and hosted them backstage to continue the celebration with a champagne toast and cake.

Over the weekend, the “Tonight Show” skipped the Emmys and began Fallon’s birthday celebrations with his wife at 1770 House in East Hampton.
